On the 20th of June, for a very first time, Karsten Moholt AS has organized an internal event called ‘HSE & Q Day’ that gathered all employees of the company for an afternoon where information related to health, safety, environment and quality has been in focus.
Karsten Moholt AS have just moved to a new and modern facility on Askøy, strengthening it’s position as a leading reliability partner and maintenance strategy expert. However, a new and improved facility does not mean that systematic HSE & Q work should be put aside. A success criteria for gathering all company’s departments to one location is a good communication and cooperation among them. Therefore, the main topic of the HSE & Q day this year has been cooperation and awareness.
Karsten Moholt’s suppliers that play an important role in achieving the goals related to HSE and quality work were also invited to share their knowledge and inform Karsten Moholt’s employees about the work they have been doing for the company. Employees have been introduced to the process and results related to latest risk assessment that was conducted this year and newest environmental goals.
Robin Dale Oen from the Dale Oen Experience was invited to share his thoughts about what is the most important in order to build a good team and what it takes for the team to succeed. He held an inspirational speech sharing his own personal experience related to team work and what it took him and his brother, Alexander Dale Oen, to achieve their goals. The Dale Oen Experience, that is led by Robin Dale Oen, is a program created in memory of an Olympic swimmer, Alexander Dale Oen and is meant for children and youth between 8 and 18 years in Norway.
Karsten Moholt AS hopes that HSE & Q Day becomes a yearly tradition that plays an important role in internal knowledge transfer related to health, safety, environment and quality.
